The Little Church that could... |
|
John Witteman crafted
this little church piggy bank in 1999. Since
then, it has raised over $11,800 in anonymous
donations, which have been used for many projects
in the church. Check it out next time
you're in the narthex.
News--The
funds raised from the Little Church will go
towards mission projects locally. Thank you to all who
donated. |

Sermons For July
· July
5 — Mark 6:1-13 — Pastor Kim will preach a message in
which he examines our all too human desire to “Please
people.” While there is nothing wrong with pleasing
people, God’s call is not just to give people what they
want. God calls us to give people what they need, which
is sometimes very different from what they want.
Communion will be served. This Sunday there will only
be one service at 11:00 a.m.
· Pastor
Kim, Jim Waters and Rochelle Killett will share their
experiences from this year’s annual conference. Come
and learn what is going on in the Oregon Idaho Annual
Conference and learn about its plans for the coming
year.
·
July 19 — Ephesians 1:3-6 — Pastor Kim’s sermon will
address the dilemma that occurs in our lives when our
“Dreams don’t meet reality.” Too many times the things
we hope for or expect do not come about, leaving us
disappointed. Paul addresses this issue in his letter
to the Ephesians.
· July
26 — Ephesians 1:11-23 — Pastor Kim will continue in
Ephesians as he looks deeper at what it means to be
“Chosen” by God.
